WHAT WE'RE ABOUT
REACH Alternative Breaks offers student led and developed service trips to locations on the East Coast during the University's Fall & Spring breaks. Each trip is focused on a different social topic and typically consist of 8 student participants, 2 student trip leaders, and a faculty/staff learning partner. It is our aim to provide a purposeful service experience that creates sustainable community ties and become bearers of conscious and respectful service.
There is mutual gain to the community AND you. You'll gain hands-on experience of problem-solving, adaptability, teamwork, and communication skills. You'll step out of your comfort zone and get to learn about a new place while being a part of something bigger than yourself. Plus, you'll have the chance to make new friends, make memories, and make a difference by impacting relevant social issues that you care about. Seriously, what's not to like?
